Portable Fan Air Conditioner

I’m the kind of person who needs the fan on me when I sleep. This fan came in handy during the summer months when my parents refused to turn the ac on. I don’t think the “ac” function really works as it says. It spurts out a fine mist which is refreshing. The only downside is that you have to make sure when you add water it has to be ice cold. In order to get that cooling effect. Other than that, this fan is amazing. This fan is small enough to not impede on desk or room space. Other downside is the fan doesn’t oscillate, so you have to manually move it in the direction you want.

I was intrigued by the underlying concept of this little portable desktop fan that uses a small water tank to cool down the air and turns it into a mini-air conditioner, so I was eager to try it. And it worked great! I poured a little ice water into the water tank, turned it on, and a very fresh cold breeze came out. It's not going to cool down an entire room (nor does it claim to), but as a desktop or bedside fan it will certainly take the edge off of a heat wave.
