A short, wide jar in gold-leafed glass — the leafing sits inside the wall, so the surface stays smooth and the light breaks across it unevenly, the way real gilding does. The domed metal lid carries a cast peacock feather with the eye and barbs picked out by hand, and sits flush on the rim to keep dry fruit or mithai fresh. At 6.5 inches tall it works as a single piece on a console, and as a pair flanking a tray it reads as a set. Sold empty, so it can be filled and gifted as it is.
