The tall cut of the feather holder: thirteen inches of cast plume rising from a hammered disc base to a frosted glass cup, finished in the same antiqued silver-gold. The extra height lets the feather arc rather than simply stand, and the shadow it throws stretches further across the wall. Strong enough to hold a mantel or an entryway console on its own, and better still with the 10.5-inch version beside it. Takes a tealight or small votive; the glass lifts out for cleaning. Trim wicks to 5 mm and never leave a lit candle unattended.
